Biofertlizer Lumbrical improves the growth and ex vitro acclimatization of micropropagated pear plants

In vitro micropropagation of plants is highly useful for obtaining large quantities planting material with valuable economic qualities. However, plantlets grow in a specific environment and the adaptation after transfer to ex conditions difficult. Therefore, acclimatization key step, which mostly determines success micropropagation. The aim this investigation was study effect biofertlizer Lumbrical on micropropagated pear rootstock OHF 333 ( Pyrus communis L.). Micropropagated rooted were potted peat perlite (2:1) mixture or without Lumbrical. They grown growth chamber at temperature 22±2 °C photoperiod 16/8 hours supplied by cool-white fluorescent lamps (150 µmol m-2 s-1 Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density, PPFD). covered transparent foil maintain high humidity, ten days later, humidity gradually decreased. Biometric parameters, anatomic-morphological analyses, net photosynthetic rate chlorophyll fluorescence (JIP test) measured 21 transplanting conditions. obtained results showed that plants, acclimatized substrate Lumbrical, presented better (stem length, number leaves, leaf area fresh mass) characteristics as compared control plants. This biostimulator could also be used improve other woody species
